Thinking about installing the "Engine Damage Avoidance System" (EDAS)

I'm thinking about installing the "Engine Damage Avoidance System" (EDAS) from PowerStrokeHelp on my 6.4L. Check out these videos:

Seems like it would be a good investment. Does it only work for low coolant so you the engine won't overheat? Or does it also work for fuel issues, like an injector going out or a trash in the fuel line? It seems as the 6.0's have overheating issues from low coolant and the 6.4's issues come from the fuel system. This is just what I gathered from reading forums. I'm no diesel mechanic by any sort.

I think its just a hobbs switch that monitors cooling system pressure. If it reaches a certain point the lil gizmo starts yelling at you.

Yeah, it just monitors cooling system pressure. I'll probably hold off until my warranty expires in two years though. Any failure resulting in a short/long block replacement while under warranty would not be such a bad thing for me.
