Need Jack Package

Hey guys!

I found out the hard way that either the dealer or the first owner of my truck took all the jack parts out of my truck.

I emailed TascaParts.com about getting a new jack package for the truck but haven't gotten a reply back and that was over a week ago.

Does anyone know where I can get one? I need all of it. I cant even get my spare tire down!

I have a 2008 Ford F-250 SuperDuty.

Your best bet is to check E-Bay.

Time to go junkyarding. The factory jack sucks, so don't get that. But I can see why you'd need the handle.

I suppose you could have mine, if I can find it. I throw that garbage out into the weeds day one and roll with a 3 ton shop jack, 20ton bottle, 6x6 blocks, and the spare chained in the bed.

Do you have the spare tire key?

When you mean you mean the part that you put a key in and it unlocks for the rod to go into and lower the tire? If so that was gone when I got the truck also...

I plan on getting a tool box for the bed, when I do I'm going to get a 20ton bottle jack cause then I'll have somewhere to put it. I really just need the part you use to get the spare tire down with. Without that It's pointless to have a jack.

My 06 had no jack when I bought it to, I purchased the spare tire lowering tool and the lug wrench from the dealer for $75, came in the cloth bag, and picked up a 2 ton bottle jack for $20 from the parts store. Might be your cheapest way to go.

I agree the factory jack is junk. I carry a 6 ton bottle jack, in the original jack location.

That seems like the way I may go. My dad was telling me that if I come out to their house he will give me a 20ton bottle jack.

Just gotta call up the dealer and get the lowering tool on order.

Well, I cut down a spare tire for a friend once when he just wanted to put the spare in the bed like I do. Always an option if you didn't want to buy the key.

I'd at least get a six or ten ton so you could jack up the rear while hooked to a trailer.

I cant have the spare in the bed. I carry stuff back there daily.

I'm going to go pick up a 20 ton bottle jack this weekend from tractor supply. Only $50. Then like u said I can jack the truck up without un hooking the RV.
