a friend of mine has a 2006 (i believe) f250 with a bullydog programmer he only runs on tow mode, he says under 1500 RPM it shakes really bad, kinda like when an IDM goes out. and he says he gets a DTC for number 7 missfire. he has had the EGR replaced,

anyways. someone told him if he changed that side injectors/rail it should solve the problem

and i have already informed him about the head studs/EGR/oil cooler and all that jazz

 

see if CTC will show up, he works on these all the time

 

I would only change the injector that was missing. No sense changing one full bank.

 

I'd bet that his IDM is going out. It'll probably show codes for all injectors soon. Just to be sure, swap the #7 injector with another one on the truck and see if the code moves with the injector.
