That was a waste of time. Only a 6k lb trailer behind a diesel SD? Why even bother? That's F150 territory.

Why not? The weight has more to do with the all aluminum construction than the trailer not weighing enough. These top of the line alluminum trailers weigh less than the cheap steal trailers. Just because a F-150 can tow it doesn't take away from the test or the information given. If I buy a 16 foot Featherlite trailer that weighs 2200 lbs, should I not tow it with a Super Duty because a F-150 can handle it? I'd rather see a test with an average 6000 lbs than a weight most will never tow. I'm sure there will be other tests.

Yes, it does. The truck has a new powertrain and 6000lbs just isn't enough for a true test.
