Question

hey yall so me and my brother have been thinkin about droppin a deisel in his f250. Hes got a 2000 f250 with the v10 in it, any done the motor sawp from the v 10 to the deisel?
was wonderin f anyone knows where i can get a used deisel?

Bottom line its cheaper to sell the truck and buy one with a diesel. Aside from all that the PSD should be one of the last diesels you should be considering to throw in there if you're going through all that work. Unless you have a spare $10k laying around I wouldn't suggest the project as thats about the going rate.

it'd be easiest to find a wrecked diesel truck and swap all the parts over...


or just toss some boost on the V-10 and even up the playing field

Wouldn't you have an advantage over the diesel because the diesel weighs more than the V-10?

the v10 has 218000 miles so he wants to keep the truck and its goin to need a new motor soon
