Here are a couple pictures of my fathers F350's and my F150.
From left to right:
05 F350 XLT, FX4, 6.0L/auto, TowBoss and snowplow packages (sold in July 09 with 35000 miles, lots of injector issues)
02 F350 XLT, 4X4, 7.3L/auto (bought July 09 with 53000 miles, been flawless so far)
and my little 04 F150

Here are a couple more of another of my fathers old trucks
99 F350 XLT, 4X4, 7.3L/6spd, a couple good mods (custom chip, injectors, exhaust, intake, ect). It had 150,000ish miles when it was traded for the POS 05 that he bought.

The day he traded

Looks good to me!

Hey PHS79, you know they make them in colors other than white, right?

Yep, thats the reason that my truck is black!

My old man just keeps getting white because both his 5th wheel camper and slide-in truck camper are white, he just likes them to match I guess. But he would have bought the 02 no matter when color it was for a few reasons. It had never been driven in the winter (so no rust from all the salt), the exact configuration he was looking for, only 53000 miles, and a price tag 17500--dad wasn't going to be picky about the color. It just happened that it was white.

I know those Wisconsin winters are hard on vehicles. We don't have rust on vehicles down here. Wait, my drive shaft has some rust!

Your lucky!! Thats the reason that my 04 F150 sits in the garage for 3-4 months and doesn't get driven in the winter, and I have a company vehicle that I can use for my personal stuff.

All the salt they use up here is also the reason that I don't have a SuperDuty yet. I had found a 02 F350 with 73000 miles (an exact twin to dads, only in silver) but when I crawled under it the floor boards and rockers were all rust. Oh well, the wife wasn't too fond of having a dually anyway.
