what to do with my truck

what should i do to the new truck?

i am wanting to run stock wheels this go around, one of my biggest regrets i had with my f150.

not wanting a full suspension lift, right now im considering a 3" coil lift and either air bags in the rear for towing or an AAL, but i think an AAL will stiffen the rear up way to much seems already pretty stiff as is. im not sure on the do's and donts on the f250's for suspension like i do on the f150. is there a reason i don't see many 3"s advertised? all i mainly see is 2 1/2" spacers.

one thing i really want is to put my CB into the truck, but i have not seen one f250/350 i have liked yet with the antennae.

Could always start off with and MBRP 4in Off Road exhaust with the cat delete pipe to make it sound better. I think the reason you are seeing only 2-1/2in leveling kits is because of the Panard bar on the front of these trucks. If you buy one of those kits make sure you get one with Panard bar spacers or it will pull the axle to the left causing to drive line to be out of alignment.

If it was me, and I was going to leave the stock wheels/tires I wouldn't bother with suspension. Only mods I would do would be performance related, but that's just me.

x2... but IMO wheels would look awesome... esp the ones Blackout mentioned.. those are def one of my favorite superduty wheels other than the Fx4 ones on the 04 6.0's.

Why do you even want a lift at all if you are going to run stock wheels? All that's going to do is lower your fuel mileage and make the stock wheels look too small.

not a fan of 20+ rims. and want it to be atleast leveled out but can't lift huge since i will be towing 5k-6k pounds regularly once i finish building my toyota.

i honestly don't care about fuel mileage, i got 11mpg in my old truck so long as im above that which i know i will be i will be happy.

considering doing a muffler delete tomorrow and soon after ditching the cat. the muffler looks like it will take a matter of 10 minutes? haven't decided if im going to just go buy the delete pipe from a local shop or go buy pipe and weld it up myself. what about tips? black or chrome look better on my truck, didn't realize this color was so hard to choose which color would flow better with it.

also wanting to hook up some antenna's for my cb and get all that wired up. thinking 3 ft firesticks. got a question. i really want tan/beige firesticks (to match my lower of the 2 tone) but from what i can find it does not exist, so can you paint the antenna w/out screwing up reception? i also am afraid if i am able to paint it what the best way to get the paint to stick properly.

Just so you know the stock exhaust on these trucks in 3-1/2in and not 4in. You could try Krylon Fusion that is made for vinyl and the coating on the antennas is vinyl. I would buy a cheap antenna to try this on at first in case it destroys the antenna.

Took my truck to powerstroke magic today and had garrett cut out my muffler and cat. start up if your standing next to the truck sounds sick IMO, in the cab at idle you cannot tell, once you get on it you definitely know its there.
