2011 6.7 at truck pull
There's no engine noise, no nose movement, no tire spin.. What kind of pulls do you watch? There's nothing here implying the truck is doing what it should be doing.
All they did was drive over to the other side with it. Working it would imply pushing the truck to it's limit moving the sum'bitch over to the other side ASAP. You know - The hole POINT to a 'sled pull'.

From Diesel Power Magazine
What Happened To International?
Ford says in order to stay competitive and profitable in the diesel segment, it needed to develop its own in-house diesel engine program. Ford and International have worked together for more than 30 years and have sold more than 3 million Power Stroke engines in Ford trucks. Ford and International will continue to do business together in the medium-duty truck market as partners in the Blue Diamond joint venture, as well as in other markets outside of North America.

x2...lol
Did you also notice the little tires?
Ima ford man if there ever was one, but im sure the things gonna have plenty power but that should be second to gettin the reliability down especially after the 6.0 and now the slightly better6.4...im glad they're ending their ties with international because international sucks i never have liked them....i hope this 6.7 is trouble free!!!

According to pickuptruck.com that sled weighed about 30,000lbs and it is pulling with the conventional hitch. That's pretty damn impressive.

Your above statement reinforces just how awesome this trucks real world power is....no wheel spinning, no speeding, no drama, just pure usable real world power!!! If I was towing a 30,000 trailer on a public road, I don't think I would be racing some time clock!!!...........Geezzz!!!......

That truck was driven by a Ford engineer who took it upon himself to enter it in a Kentucky truck pull one weekend. That truck was a test mule, not a final unit. Management was not to pleased with the guy when they learned of where he had taken the truck.

Why would you even talk about public road in this regard. It has nothing to do with the subject. And you're so hot over 30,000lbs, even though the 08's when properly equipped can hall 24,500lbs legally.
And "pure useable real world power"?.... So, the people who modify their trucks to haul in these competitions are what? Magic?
I never said anything about being timed. By 'asap' I merely meant that they don't take there time getting over to the other side.
