Question diesel problems

My father has a new 2000 excursion with a turbo diesel. It has just started puffing out large amounts of white smoke and dripping gas or oil from the exhaust when starting up. Any advice thanks Brian

About the white smoke: That sounds like something to do w/the glow plugs. Take it to the dealer and have it checked out.
About the gas/oil dripping out the tailpipe. I'm having a hard time believing it's gas or oil. It's most likely just water condensation, which is normal.
After your dad takes it in, let us know what Ford did to fix it.

the white smoke is sometimes an indicator of a pluged injector, if thats the prob. warranty should cover it . the fluid you see could be unburned fuel. looking forward to hearing the fix for this one
