6.0 vs 7.3
the 2003 f250 6.0 4x4 crew cab shortbed has 101,505 miles and it gets 16 mpgs, the only problem it has is that it always kicks annoyingly when you floor it 
and it had a broken tranny seal at 85k
the 1999 f350 7.3 2wd crew cab longbed had 175,xxx before we sold it and it got 18-19 mpgs and hauled 7000lbs of batteries once
, its problems were at 170k it had a ripped block which leaked coolant and caused it to overheat. we got that fixed and then it ran for almost 6k befor water pump blew out and ruined the fun
