Good deal on a cummins?
Yeah Yeah
I know, actually I thought it was a great deal, but it was a gasser...
I don't think I'd buy a dodge anyway... The truck always seems to fall apart around the engine
I kew I'd get razzed as soon as I put it up
. As my name suggests...I bleed Blue.

Unless they close the dealerships nearby and you have to go far out of your way for service/warranty work. They are making them liquidate all their parts too.
I don't think that Dodge owners will have any problems getting service, since the US government has said that it will stand behind the warranty.

That's a scary thought
Maybe Ford should go for a CAT or Detroit... that would be interesting

Yeah, the warranty will still be good, but what happens if the closest dealer is over 2 hours away? Kinda inconvenient huh?
I find it quite funny though that as soon as they get something to the point where it is reliable, they always have to change it. It's like they say to themselves "hey, we finally have a good reliable engine that gets decent economy and puts out respectable power... Let's change it and screw it up."
Just my thoughts...
I'm no diesel expert by any stretch but, I seem to recall the Cummins being strong and reliable from the start... where as both ford and GM had a lot of growing pains and problems before they started to get things right.
