Thats not enough truck for a diesel. It just wouldnt even seem right.

But heck, look at my Dakota... it's got a 4.7l V8, 4x2, with a 5 speed. It's a regular cab, short bed, with 3.92 posi rear end, and weighs 500 lbs lighter than a regular cab, short bed, v6, 5 speed, 4x2, Ranger.

Now that's overkill.

Manual a guy I worked with had 5.9 dakota with a procharger on it, that truck was bad

and if ford offered a short bed regualr cab 7.3 2 sheel drive F-250 I'd be all over it, just liek they should have offered a V-10 in the F-150's

The reg cab short bed was made in the us 1999 and I think 2000 but was a 3/4 ton 2wd only. I have seen them in the diesal Mags. There are some cool ones out there!

No, Ford never made that truck. EVER. Those trucks are custom made.

Yeah, the 5.9 is such a worse motor than the 6.0...

I've said it before and I 'll say it again

Give me my F250, put a Cummins with an Allison on it and you have the perfect truck.

I HATE Dodge trucks but its hard to hard to argue on that engine.

oh by the way, did you ever guys see the issue of Truckin' with this 2 door Excursion?

I'd also kill for one of these, cmon now, a 1 ton bronco with a diesel!?!

Now, I like the lowered look but this thing definitely needed an 8 inch lift with some huge tires and Rockwell axels or something.

I don't think the V10 would fit under the hood of an F150...
