With my '08 250, I've learned (the hard way) that the garage needs to have a clearance of at least 6'8". I went into one that was 6'7" and it was just low enough for me to put a light scratch on the roof. (and my truck is bone stock!)

BTW... I had to replace my antenna after 6 months because it "slapped" the beams in the parking garage so often. Finally, it was so cold out side, the antenna just snapped off!

The little ball on the top of my antenna has a flat spot on the top of it from where it drags on my garage door and where it has dragged in parking garages. I try to avoid parking garages like the plague.

I think its vehicle descrimination!! I would go to the buildings owner and demand a spot or a lawsuit will follow... Just kiddin... the 6.6 probably means there is a light fixture that is low or there could be a speed bump that makes it that hight as well.. have a buddy ride in the bed and slowly try to make it in, let him keep a watchful eye..

I will ride with my head out the window staring at my roof. The good news is that my truck fits in the parking garages in Vegas.

I dont remember if i read it on this site somewhere or if someone told me about this but there was someone that cut there antenna down to where it was just a lilttle bit taller then the truck. That way when you pull into something if it hits then you know you better not go there.

Watch the ramp angles. Cost me $600.00 to repair the scratches on the roof of my 5 month old 06 SD.
