resale value

has the resale value for a superduty really gone down that much , or were they just messing with me. has anyone had any experience, recently, with trying to sell their superduty... no, i am not buying a toyota. don't need a superduty anymore, so i am looking at f-150s...i guess private party sell here i come.

I had mine listed for sale a few weeks ago just to see what the market was like. Had a few serious bites and I had it listed for more than market value due to the money I have wrapped up in it.

that is what i am hoping for. i want to get an 08' f-150 because i do not like the looks of the 09'. i think there is still a market for a low mileage superduty.

don't need to, just want to. parking spaces in socal are getting smaller and smaller. won't fit in parking garages, hell it takes me 10 minutes trying to get out of a parking spot at work. love the truck, i just want something a little smaller. at least it is not a toyota.so if anybody in socal is interested.....i know, wrong place for ads..........................

Itll make a heck of alot of difference in whether or not you have a stroke under the hood. You could argue that the price may be near equal (though I doubt that), but the ease of sale is certainly still in favor of diesels.

Understand my F350 big brother....understand! sad to hear, but being a product of SoCal myself (Newport Beach) I definately understand!. Heck I would even have trouble parking my '89 Stang on Balboa/ Lido back then...

Ever since the price of gas(diesel especially)shot up superduty value in general dropped significantly.

personally I think the fact that yours is gas powered will make it a lot easier to sell

gas is starting to go down again(at least around my area) so hopefully value will go up a little.

SUV and Trucks have been hit hard by the economy and gas prices.

Could you imagine the resale value of a two year old Dodge Ram while new Dodge Rams were selling for up to 50% off MSRP!!!

Considering the tightening credit markets and a tough economy, the resale may not be too your liking.

Pull up a autotrader search in your area with the spec of your truck and see what people are asking for them. Remember that is their asking price, not the final sale price.

the price is pretty competetive with other 05's with a lot more miles on them. just need the right buyer. most of the trucks were f-250s in the adds.

are people not buying used superdutys right now, i know gas prices are not the problem. i have had only a couple of nibbles. the most interested was a guy from texas, i am in cali. i have my truck priced below trucks that are older, more miles, and less equiped. i know it is not the all mighty diesel, so you do not have to chime in how it is not a diesel.

At least you don't have the problem of selling that gimmicky interior that the 2008-2009 has!
