i have a 2003 f250 (gas) and when iam driving my speedometer will drop to zero then fly back up to the speed i was at and then the abs light comes on. this happens all the time. and the truck has a loss of power and is making a baffle noise out of the exhaust. there is also a slight shake. i replaced the rear speed censor and the one at the tranny. the tranny and rearend are also fine. ive been told its electrical and possible the computer??? hopefully someone can help me. thanks!

sounds like the cluster is tripping out, either its faulty, or its loosing power/ground to it

truckinguyf250,
What was the final outcome, meaning what did you do to fix the issue?
My 06 does this same thing, but does not lose power. Service can never duplicate the issue so they say nothing is wrong, but it does what yours was doing a few times per year.

Thanks

outcome to my problem....

i had to replace the coil on my #5 plug and my rear speed sensor. i was hoping it was in the dash but all that was fine. so hopefully this will help you out. haha oh yeah, they kept telling me my truck was fine too.
