PSD Coolant changes

Just went all through my service manual, no mention of a coolant change.

Is coolant ever changed in the PSD?

I hope so. The EGR is cooled by the coolant on the 6.0T and 6.4TT. Maybe call your dealership and ask them.

I think its in the service record, it might be under 60k

Thanks Pat, that's what I was thinking but I went all the way up to 75K in the book and no mention of changing out the coolant.

The reason I am asking is b/c I hear my fan more and more, granted its a bazillion degrees outside but I don't recall it being so prevalent in the past.

Well i know PSD and Petrol are a whole different game, but my coolant was 5yr 100k

I changed it at 3/50 just for good measure. I mixed in more water then the factory spec b.c water is what actually stores/removes the heat from the engine.

I guessed 60k on yours b.c coolant does more on your truck then the Petrol's. But maybe its 100k
