WSG-1068 with standard shift

Does the WSG-1068 come with a 5 speed or a 6 speed on the F250?

Also, how the truck do on mpg with the standard shift?

Depends on the year what they could get. The 6spd was an option in the later years. Most have only a 5spd. You're still not going to like the mpg, low teens at best. Towing will take it to close to 10 or under.

I think the new '08 SDs are offered with the v10 and the 6 speed stick. Right?

Probably are. Just go on Ford's vehicle builder website and build one, it'll tell you for sure if they offer it. Its not that hard.

I almost got the 6-spd with the V10 in our '06...but wifey had to drive sometimes and it would have been to much hassel for her - I have enjoyed the Torqshift though so it ended up being the right decision for us at least...
