"Check trailer" message - 2005 F250

My 2005 F-250 keeps flashing a "check trailer" message (I've got the tow controller) even though there is no trailer on the hook. Any ideas where to look?

Isn't there a TSB about TowCammand for 05's?

Are you running a programmer?

does it appear when you press the brake pedal hard? Or stopping fast and putting in to reverse?

I had a few issues but haven't seen that error message in over a year.

Just started beeping and flashing that message as I drove down the road. Nothing unusual at all, as far as I can tell. Haven't had a trailer on the hook in almost a year, either.

If there is a TSB, I'd love to know about it. Any idea where I could find out?
