I ran the Hypermax 300 on my 2002, and then went to the 330 when I added gauges. Hypermax makes very respectable power without the heat. I rarely saw 1,100 degrees, and averaged abou 600 while driving at 65mph. I rarely towed, but I ran the truck for a long time without gauges for daily driving, and Hypermax agreed they weren't needed with the 300 chip based upon their tests. If I had another 7.3, I'd do it all over again. Oh, I had a foam filter intake and 4" turbo back. It ran, but nothing like my 6.0L with Innovatives Street tune.

I don't know how far from Ft. Worth you are, but I would make the drive to see Tony Wildman, You can get the truck live tunned buy him and any changes made on the spot. www.totaldieselperformance.com

I was going to say my choice would be an SCT (SuperChips Custom Tuning) tuner, but that would be spam apparently...
