Hi all.
I have an old key less entry fob from my old f150, and i was wondering if it would work for my new 08 6.4l f250.
the picture in the owners guide is the same as my old transmitter so i thought it might work.
My truck didn't come with keyless entry so I was wondering if maybe it wouldn't be possible at all. i tried what it said to do in the manual but it didn't unlock after i cycled it.
Any thoughts?:santa:

 

If the truck didn't come with keyless entry, then it can't be added simply by programming a remote.

will i be able to install a command start that will have door unlockers??

 

Yes. Your best bet is an aftermarket system though.

 

ya i wasnt gonna go with a ford one. over priced and not all the features i would like. Thanks guys glad you could make sense of all that i tend to ramble.
