Some good sounding stuff! Glad I have an 08 - As usual I am always too late, or in this case too early!

Geez - I was hoping that Ford would add a 'Wild Ones' pkg with the Harley Edition which would include the locking gun storage like the Cabelas Edition.

Couple of great options due for 09, glad I decided not to jump on an 08 as soon as they came out (like I did with my 150)....

Which ones are the "great" options? I am still glad mine doesn't have the TPMS and the long air dam. I don't see a single option that I really care about. That Sync is such a waste...my wife's AWD Edge Limited has it, and we have not used it since the week we bought the car. I am sure the gadget freaks will like it, but other than the Bluetooth, it really is worthless.

I'd be curious to see what the FX4 luxury package has. I also just paid to have a spray in liner installed, so that would of been nice to have stock. The perimeter alarm is about the only other option that catches my interest. All in all I'm glad I didn't wait.

I wish they would offer a regular cab short bed one of these days... of course with the 6.4l TTD PS.

I like y'all's 08+ trucks but still the comment "All in all I'm glad I didn't wait" is what I said when I bought my 06 and saw what the 08's were going to be. The 05~07 is a good, simple, easy on the eye, easy to access, no frills Super Duty.

I was told if would be after our July shutdown. It is usually the first 2 weeks of July.

That black Lariat is the winner for me. I am so sick and tired of parchment leather seats in Fords. I will be interested in the Cabelas version, that sounds cool.

I drove a AZ Beige F250 today while waiting on the transmission flush on my 06. Looks like my timing on waiting for a gently used 09 will be perfect.

Horse trading in 09....

Good luck...I won't be trading again until at least 2013.
