attn plow owners

just picked up 01 250 superduy with a 8 foot fisher setup. im probably to late for this year but... im looking for how you guys go about pricing a job so i can make some cash. im hoping for a contract with the city but.. thats kind of a longshot. any input/ tips would be appreciated.

well my dad has to get our driveway done by a guy and he gets 45 bucks a pop. Not sure if that helps, as you may be looking more for businesses? Our driveway is about 400 feet long.

any advice is good. some guys have told me they charge at flat rate for say the first 3 inches.. then its a set amount each trip back.

i charge 75$ fee for the truck everytime i make a push and 40$ an hour so if a plow one business it would be 75+40+40=155. If i come back 2 hours later to plow it again i still charge the 75$ fee and then $40 an hour. We had a good winter this year and i made 12000$ up in wisconsin

thats some sweet cash. id ask people around me area but.. they are not looking to lose accounts to me. im in mass and landscape/plow bussines are cut throat up here.
