Super Duty seats...

OK, so no one could help me with the SYNC question, but the dealer did say it will NOT be retrofittable. (but who knows right?) Anyway--here is another question for you all....will 04+ F150 front seats fit in a Super Duty? I know the brackets will not work, but can the seats be mounted on a Super Duty bracket? I would guess any power wiring would work...unless the Super Duty harnesses are different. Even then, it would just be a matter of connecting the proper wires. The seats are keeping me from buying one. I currently have an F150, that a relative of my wife wants to buy. Consequently, she likes the fixed headrest F250-350 style seat vs. the 150 seats. As long as I get the same color interior, I could swap out the seats between the two trucks. I know it is silly, but I owned an 02 and just test drove an 08--I really prefer the 150 seats over the Super Duty's--and I am pretty sure I will spend most of my time with the truck in the seat...lol. Thanks again.

Thats strange...I thought the Super Duty seats blew away the seats in my old F150 Lariat. I would also think a seat swap would be nearly impossible. The SD seats are bigger and probably would not even come close to fitting.

I'm not so sure about the SD seats being bigger.
I've had my '08 SD for about a month now and the seat bottoms are not as deep as the ones in my '01 SD. When I drive for more than an hour or so I develop a major ache in the back of my lower thighs. It's bothering me so much that I've put in one of those vibrating/heated cushions but unfortunately it's not helping much.
Now, I'm a pretty average guy (6' tall, 180#) and can't figure out WHY Ford would make the seat so narrow F to R. I'm thinking about cutting a piece of plywood to fit the seat and extend the leg support; maybe adding a piece of foam to the edge to give more support near the back of the knees. If that doesn't work I guess I'll be shopping for a new seat...

I like the leather seats in my 08 F250 FX4 a lot better than the leather seats in my 04 F150 FX4. They are much more comfortable to me.
