If you're willing to forego the 05-07 bumper you can do this swap for quite a bit less than $1400 if you're on a tight budget. The bumper requires the new core support and that along with the bumper are typically the highest dollar items. I was looking into this swap a couple years ago and decided against it for the cost. If you want to save a little more money and have ample time keep cruising ebay. If you keep watching you can score lights and grills for cheap. There is also a company on ebay selling pretrimmed grills that work with the 99-04 bumpers. Only thing is they don't offer the Harley grills last I checked. My 05 grill only cost me $20 off ebay, though granted its an XL grill.

You mean the header panel? Like I said earlier, you *can* reuse your old header panel, you just have to cut out the headlight holes to fit the new headlights. And actually, the headlights (each), bumper, and header panel are all about the same price...

Thanks zaair and powerstroke for the input i am seriously considering this mod for my 04..The price on powerstroke shop not to bad considering your price was so close to and the leg work it saves at my local dealer.. But it does not include the badges so they will be extra..but i will have to wait till tax returns

Yeah, Powerstroke Shop price was close, but theirs is BEFORE shipping. Bend over for that...

Just found this thread man!! Your truck came out sweet bro. My buddy is willing to sell me his 2004 F250 for 13,000. It's not a bad deal it has 87,000 miles its a supercrew, 4WD, has an 8in lift with 36 in super swampers.....I'm still thinking about it....If I were to buy it I would do this front end conversion!!
