Did you pull the emblems off and see that there is actual ducts in the fender routed right to the vents??? Like I said I am not going to argue how well they work....just that they arent stick on bling bling fender vents.
No...I looked on the sides of the engine bay and didn't see anything that would make the vents have any real performance as drawing hot air at a rate that is going to make a non-side-vented truck less better. Heat rises - sure - but the vacuum created as air is moving under the truck would draw as much 'hot' air as those vents...IMO. Maybe you have a case when the truck is stopped ..Hey...I'm not arguing, just curious as to real world functionality they have. They seem to lean more towards the bling factor. Some have said they work, some have said they don't...and these are guys that have the 08's.

BTW...the billet inserts look good with your black truck!

The only problem with the flat black ones is that is what the XL models come with. Body color would look awsome on your truck.
Here are some pictures of my billet vents (also notice the F350 upgrade mod! )
I did not think you were lying at all! I just have to see things for myself to get my mind around stuff hehe .

I dig the billet ones quite a bit though! I am going to think about them this week and I will let you know either way.

So the XLs come with the flat black? Damn I could have bought flat black instead of using paint?
I think body color would indeed look pretty sweet. That or Billet is what my long term is going to be I think.
