I have a 99 f250 with the 6.8L I thought I had a resonater just befor the muffler but its not its the cat there is no senser after it is it ok to cut it out?

Sure... why not... as long as there are NO sensors, it is fine to just saw or cut it off.

if there are sensors all you have to do is run a 1/4 ohm resistor on the signal wire of any o2 sensors after the cat
