6.0 vs. 7.3

So I am looking at a F350 or F250, 2002-2004 range. I know the 7.3 has a fairly good record and has great longevity. How does the 6.0 fare? And what can I expect to pay for a F350 King Ranch Dually 7.3 with less than 100K on it? I found a nice 2003 KR with a 6.0 for $23K

if you're looking to get some power out of it i'd go with an 02 7.3. they quit using forged rods in the 03 7.3's. but that's only if you want a lot of power,a few small mods and a chip are fine on an 03. as far as the 6.0's are concerned the head studs stretch and the 07 my grandpa had was having some driveabillity issues that ford wasn't wanting to fix so he traded it for a duramax. from what i've seen, upgraded head studs and a good tune and the 6.0's are pretty good, but i don't know for sure. the 7.3 is a very dependable proven engine that you can get alot of power and decent fuel mileage out of

7.3!!

my friend had a 6.0 and it didnt compare to my 7.3. his had no power and couldnt tow anything. I can smoke my tires and haul anything. it has 105,000 miles and the only problem so far has been a rear pinion seal leak

yeah,my grandpa's would fall flat on its face towing sometimes and was gettin like 8mpg loaded. but it ran good unloaded,i only drove it once though right after he got it and then he traded it.unloaded(when i drove it anyway) it had alot more pep than my 7.3 when it was stock, but now after a little over a grand (gauges included) my 7.3 will absolutely haul ***.
