06 6.0 Airfilter

So I looked at my air filter gauge the other day, it was not showing, rather the yellow was all the way over the right (towards firewall)

I thought when it was in that position it was time to change it. So I did, thinking that I would see the yellow go all the way forward (to the left) and it didn't....it stayed in the same place?

Is that right?

I think you need to push the reset on the cap of the gauge. Check your owner's manual. I seem to remember reading something about that when I first got my PSD.

I did push the reset button and nothing really happend.

here is a picture....should the gauge show all yellow on a new filter?

I'm not sure. I havn't had to replace mine yet. I will check tonight to see what mine reads. How many miles on your rig?

I ran up to Ford today, they said its correct.

When new or not restricted, there is little showing.

Yep. I checked mine and the yellow is barely showing (like in your pic). I have 17K on the clock.
