truck almost dies when I shift into reverse

that last few days it seems when I shift my truck into reverse it will almost stall out and die, does this mean my trans is going bad?

Apparently you've got a 7.3l Powerstroke V8 with an automatic transmission, from looking at your previous posts...

I would say have a Ford Dealer look at it. However, someone on here must have had this problem. But I know they could use the info I supplied above as useful info. Hence, you should have posted what kind of engine you have.

yes I have an '03 7.3L automatic, just got caught up and forgot to put that in, thanks for reminding me! Hopefully someone on here will know something about it, just bought it kind of straped for funds to be taking it in to the dealer.

just came back from transmission place...the guy drove it told me it acted like the pump, and it still could be reverse itself. 600 to replace the pump 1600 to replace reverse, has to rebuild the whole thing to fix it if reverse is bad

$1600 for a rebuild is cheap in one of these things...
