Radio and Fan come on after rain

I have a 2000 F250. Recently after very heavy rains the accessories (radio, fan/AC) come on by themselves without the key in the ignition. I'm assuming that I have a water leak somewhere, but does anyone have any better idea?

check the windshield area.

And if you do a search of the forum, you'll probably find some more information about it.

Good luck.

Windshield leaks onto the GEM module and the fuse panel.

Water damage shorts out the GEM and can cause corrosion damage to the fuse panel.
