Oil Pressure switch

I have a 2004 V8 6.0L.
My check gauge light is on and my oil pressure gauge is not working (hopefully).
I am having trouble locating the sensor switch. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
TIA..

Ford usually puts the switch on the oil filter adaptor housing.

Find the casting that the filter screws onto. Inspect that part.

There are usually different adaptor housings for 2wd and 4wd so the filter location varies.

Yeah, I'd agree. Especially if you recently had your oil changed. Sometimes when removing or installing the filter one can inadvertently unplug or lossen the connection on that plug.

The 2004 6.0 does not have a spin on filter as it is the Diesel engine......it has a cartridge style oil filter.
