Looking to see if anyone has done this yet and what the differance was!!! I traded in my 2007 escalade with a full bose system for the new SD crew cab and I love the truck BUT the stereo SUCKS!!!

I am adding a single 12 sub behind the seat this week and looking for input on what speakers were changed if any and what size/brands!

Any info would help thanks guys!!!

 

Changed out the factory speakers on my 08 f350. Took the boston accustics out of my 04 f150 which were the same size. The install is not as easy as the f150, but not bad at all. There are a couple screws at the botom door edge that you remove, and one in the door ar rest. Take them out and lift the door panel up to remove, the rears are the same.

I think the are 5x7 speakers, they made quite a differance, I added a alpine deck and nav system out of the f150 also, everything fit, even the adapters for dash and wiring harness.

 

Ok sounds good!!! Mine are going in Saturday I had a shop close by go ahead and do it!!!

200$ to install my navi plus all stock speakers changed out!!!

i got the factory nav system stereo sounds pretty good. is there a difference in the stereo when you get the nav option?

 

I just got my truck back today I replaced all the 6x8's 4 total 2 in rear and 2 up front and wow what a differance!!!

I added the pioneer avic d2 head until with dvd and nav and the added power really helps!!!

I am installing my new single 12 behind the driver rear seat this week I will post how it sounds after we are all done!!!

 

How can you afford the new truck and the speakers and the wife????????
