If it can be done the dealer will probably have to do it. My truck doesn't have them on during the daytime. My wifes BMW had them on and we had to have the delaer turn them off. Apparently there are some options that dealers can set for you like having your doors lock automatically when you reach 15mph.
And RP, that townie chick was probably one of the best this town has to offer.
