2003 7.3 for $10,500???????

I wasn't in the market until I stumbled across this deal; 2003 4x4 F-250 extended cab with the 7.3 Diesel for $10,500. The guy needs the cash to buy some property. This seems too good of a deal to pass up. I just went to N.A.D.A. and the truck retails for over $25,000 and the Average trade is over $20,000................
Giving a quick once over the truck is gorgious. Fire engine red with chrome nerf bars. Trailer tow package with Rhino bed liner and tool box. It could use 4 tires but that was the only thing I could find. The guy wasn't home so I couldn't pop the hood or look at the interior. I have an appointment with him tomorrow to take her for a spin.
What should I look for?

If the mileage is right and the truck looks in good condition with proper maintenance, I would jump on it.

Go back and get the VIN # and ask someone at Ford to give you an OASIS report on it.

That will tell you a lot about the truck....at least to 36K...

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Unless he's a complete moron, there has to be something he's not telling you. He could put it on ebay for virtually nothing and get way more money in just as short a time. i wouldn't trust it.

BUT...

If you can get it and the title and it's not hot, even if it is reconstructed, as long as you don't plan to resell it, I say say jump on it.

Well, I think you should tell me where that truck is located at and the details of it, cause I'll be there tomorrow to buy it. But seriously, I will. I'm currently looking at several 2000 - 2001 PSD's with about 100K - 120K all under $15,000.
