460ci part help

I just resently picked up a 97 F-250 that was owned by the state of south dakoda with 90k miles on it. It has a 460 and I really like the big gas motors, so i wanted this one to run even harder than it already dose. I really need a new air intake, I really want a blower or something along those lines and if anyone can come up with some more proformance parts for the motor please help me out.

Start off with some easy things. Intake, chip/tune, exhaust, headers, cam, e-fans, etc. Then go from there.

I'd start with the transmission. With that many miles, it probably won't last much longer with the stock engine. Once you beef up the 460, the tranny will surely give out.

The 460 can be made into a real nice screamer/tire-fryer. Great info and reading at...
