Not a stereo amp, but a 1500w inverter which measures about 8"*12"*3", so same idea.
It fits real nice behind the rear passenger side seat on the floor, replacing the jack and bracket. I store the jack in the cargo tray right beside it and secured it there instead. Nice easy access from underneath the truck to run some heavy guage power wire and a ground through some grommets up through the floor as well.
