AirRaid or Stock Air Filter?

Ok, I had an AF1 on my F150 and it sure did make a difference. Talked with Troyer about getting my tuner redone for my F250 and an intake....but I talked with Ford while at my last visit...they told me that AirRaid's can cuase problems with MAF's

Has anyone with the PSD 6.0 2006 had any issues with AirRaid? The cost of moving to that vs Wicks is worth it if it gives me more and Troyer recommends this one for the F250.

I looked at the Intake section and didn't see anything for PSD's so I got lazy and posted here.

Thanks fellow PSD'ers

The best hands down air intake for the 6.0L is the factory installed intake. Don't recall where the thread was covering it, but none of the after market filtered as good or flowed any better than the FoMoCo one. In the case of the 6.0, the main key is 'filtering', as the variable vane turbos are highly sensitive to any contamination.

Even though I don't own a diesel... I've also heard to keep stock with the 6.0

Thanx. I'm kind of partial to the Dark Copper myself, but it is a bear to keep clean - dust even shows up on it.

I am with you there....this is the first non-white truck I have ever owned. I keep Meguires Detail Mist and microfiber rags in my truck box...wipe it down at least ever other day between washings. Sad life....but it looks good.

That is true. The stock air filter is one of the best things ford has done in the past few years. They flow increadibly well, and can hold a very good amount of dirt. Any of the oil bath aftermarket filters affect the mafs on the ford ttrucks. its a pain in the but,but no one had a good aftermarket oilless filter yet.
