RollingRock contact me

i had posted the thread about the paint trouble on my 06 f-250 and you said you clayed it twice, what do you mean by you clayed it?

That would be using a clay bar. Its a clay like material that you use with a water/soap solution that lifts dirt and debris out of the paint.

Yes, if they have it it will be in the auto detailing section. Good luck though, I've never seen one in a store before.

Hey Seangranger, didn't see this until today.

Looks like you got what you needed. There are other places to get clay bars most of the stuff you get at auto zone are going to be mild...which is good. you will be amazed how nice it will make your paint feel. I think it almost feels like it has lotion on it when I am done.

Remember when using clay, lots of lube.....

Yea I did it today and my truck came out perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG DIFFERENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i still see a few imperfections in the paint i will clay and wax it again in a few days!

If you rpaint still feels really smooth after the first clay, no need to redo it...claying will remove any wax that you applied...so if you are still seeing spider web like marks you may want to use more paint cleaner...then wax over that. or start over with the clay but go easy....the clay will act a little different on the paint with wax, you will know when it comes off. Fold the clay more often next go around.
