You made up my mind. I also have an F350 King Ranch - dark copper, and I wasn't too sure the full chrome wind deflector would look good. It looks mighty fine and fits right in with the massive chrome grill. Is that the Ford deflector, or did you get it from some other parts house?

Where did you get the protector .. is it a Ford product or someone else's? Just got my 2006 F250 Lariat last week and I'm really excited about it.

I bought the hood protector from autobarn.com a resource of Rodi Automotive Inc. I have purchased many items from autobarn.com in the past for my previous vehicles and have never been dissapointed with the products they sell or their customer service. The chrome protector is made by Auto Ventshade Inc. (AVI). It cost $99.95 plus $8.95 for shipping. Part number 680706, I think AVI is a division of Lund because the box shipped from a Lund warehouse. It attaches with 4 screws and 4 rubber washers into holes that are already in the underside of the hood, it stands away from the hood ~1 inch so the front of the hood can be easliy cleaned.
