I test drove a 04 F-350 crew cab shortbed with the diesel it drove out fine only has 62,000 miles but it has a awful squeaking noise coming for the roof sounds like the above in the headliner area. Its there when going down a rough road has anybody heard or have this problem. Carfax checked out ok. It's the only thing keeping me from buying it. Daniel Fine

 

Mine creaks a bit whenever I flex over curbs and off road.

My '02 probably makes the same noise. I figured that it's coming from the passanger doors cause I can here it if I push on the outside of the door. Now I only wish it still had a warrenty so I could go to the dealership and say "fix it!"
