Question F250 Vs F350

Ok guys, i've been looking at 2004 F250's for a while, and it seems every salesman has a 350 he says will be almost exactly the same. I figure there is a difference in the ride itself because of suspension, but what other issues are there between the two? I'm still steering clear of the 2003's because of the problems they had, but i've never been quite sure what those problems were or if they can easily be repaired.

Thanks for the help.

John...

97 F150 with 150,000 and no real problems.

I think the main thing is the gears the 350 would more than likley be lower geared. Also getting a little lower MPG.

Same axles, same gear choices, same frame, same springs, so whats the diff in the superduty series? Good question. A 350 has 4 inch blocks in the rear instead of 2 inch. A 350 can be optioned with DRW's and a towboss package (2005+). A 350 can cost more to insure so the 250 is available for people that don't need the bigger GWVR number.

Oh, the badges are different too.

I would add, the springs are the same, but spring options are different. And the blocks as adrian said.

Do check your insurance. It can be more expensive although that's stupid considering the difference.
