Question 1993 F250 Cruise control deactivation switch replacement

My 1993 F250 originally had the recalled switch used in the F150 but the F250 apparently was not recalled because they are too big to fit in most garages connected to homes. Therefore, only the truck burns up occasionally and no one dies. So, no recall needed. I did not like the scenario of my truck, garage, and everything else burning up. I went to the Ford dealership and bought the replacement kit 1L1Z-9G652-AA. Finally today I installed it. The kit containes a switch and harness. The switch fits fine, but the harness does not. I replaced switch 3L3T-9F924-AB 153C with switch 3L3T-9F924-AB 0955B. Is the harness 4W1T 14A411 P260R simply and adapter for a different plug or does it contain a fusable link? Also is it necessary to bleed the brakes after the switch replacement or will the small amount of air introduced simply work its way to the top of the reservoir.

I don't know about the connectivity problems. Most likely you'll have to consult your Ford dealer on that one. Any time you crack a brake line open you need to bleed those brakes.
