Got an 04 F250 SD/SC 4X2, 6.0L, and the tach and speedo don't work occasionally. On the way home today, neither were working, then all of a sudden the speedo started to work, but not the tach. Drove to the local Ford place and left it running to show them the tach was not working, and was told "probably a shorted wire in the dash". Anybod else have this issue?

 

No sorry, I believe these trucks have just a big ole circuit board behind the dash so I don't see how it could be a wire.
