Dual Exhaust & Pulling a Horse Trailer???
Ok, this is for my wife's F-150 screw(the horse fiend)
Since i just got a new F350 I now have to upgrade her truck.. she likes the split out the rear exhaust but she pulls a horse trailer. has anyone heard issues or had issues with this, pulling a horse trailer? WITH THE FUMES. She won't be pulling far, not more then prob 45 minutes one way. I don't think its a big deal, but i don't want her to show up to a show with a dead horsie....
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm kind of curious why this is in the Superduty forum as it applies to towing with an F150. Probably better off in the Towing and Hauling forum. Probably not much problem with fumes, but each rig is different. Most of the problems I hear of have to do with camper shells on the bed.
Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but I'm planing a dual exhaust install and trying to decide on dual rear or dual side exit. What did you end up doing and, if you went dual rear exit, have you had any problems with the horses?
on all my towing truck I've had the exhaust behind or in front of the rear tires on both sides aimed out
I've seen people aim the tips right at the trailer (it's allegedly easier to clean) but I don't want my horses deaf, now my buddy inn college had glass packs on his '96 7.3 and that truck was so loud we were deaf in the cab after a hard pull

I loved my old GMC when I had the exhaust out the back until I pulled an enclosed trailer with the exhaust pounding off the front of the trailer I could not hear anything for about an hour.
