Ford Part#

I'll might have to ask my local stealership service dept this question but I am needing a replacement part # if possible.

I'm not sure what it is called but on the drivers side of the engine compartment there is a spot on the firewall that was sealed/patched to run wiring to the inside of the cab. It was sealed/patched but that seal has been damaged since I have pealed it back a few times now. The seal looks like it has some sort of thin foil on the outside of it and very sticky black goo on the other that makes a nice seal.

What is it called and where could I get a replacement? I'll take a pic if ya need one. I'd like to stay OEM since it works pretty good.

Thanks!

Does it look like something you could put some Dynamat or something on instead?

Now that you say that, it does look similar to that from the pics I've seen of Dynamat. Does it have it's own adhesive? I've not used that stuff before but I might have to try some.

Would it be too hard to remove if I need access to it again?
