Bummer on the camper bid. So you've gone all the way up to twenty bucks this time huh?

Sounds like that Power Stroke fuel mileage just keeps getting better too. If I remember correctly, you seem to have increased your trailer "want target" some in accordance to your confidence in that big old Power Stroke. You should be able to jerk a big 31 footer around and get at least 15 MPG's or better. Is it still a tag-a-long rather than a fifth wheel? Or have you changed your mind?

Hope you have good luck this time. It's time to go camping!

Thumbs up

cphilip: all of the flood trailers are tag-alongs and between 28-31 feet. Lots of fleetwoods, gulfstreams, thor dutchman, forest river, keystone and K-Z inc. They all have front bedrooms and bunks. Some of the bunks are triples and the last batch I looked at had 4 bunks (two on each side) None have slid out rooms. There were 24 trailers in the last bid and they went from $6k to $10k with no logic as to why one trailer went for more than another that looked just like it. There's 13 fleetwood mallard's this go round and their only difference is in the inside colors. Can't wait to see what kind of bids they go for. I also don't know how many trailers the state is selling, but rumor has it between 1500 and 2000. I should be able to get one of them!!! Yep, not expecting any problems in the pulling dept with the rig I have!!! Just don't ask me to back it up As long as my husband is directing me, I back up just fine. But on my own, our flat trailer seems to have a mind of it's own!!!
