Post Axle Paint problems

Is anyone having paint peeling off their rear axle? I am. It peels off in square inches when I hose of the axle or differential housing. Ford says they paint them to cover rust and do NOT warrant the paint on any frame ,engine , trans etc.,parts underbody.

A good coat of Rust-O-Leum should fix it.
Good Luck.

Unhappy

Mine is the same way. Doesn't bother me any, I'll just paint it myself.
Maybe I'll get an aftermarked cover and install it insted.
