Post Towing with O/D

What kind of wieght can be towed by a SD V10 and still run the Overdrive? I understand the 4r100 is much stronger.

f250v10, I have the same truck and I tow a 7000k WA cuddy boat on a tandam trailer, it hauls it fine on flat ground, will accelerate with traffic and holds the speed up to 65 ok in OD. haven`t towed very far yet since I gotten the truck but should do fine on level roads, we have very small hills here in southern maryland and it seldom dwn shifts. the only large hill here is a bridge the ships pass under and it pulls great up the hill. If your truck shifts out of OD a lot keep it in drive
