Squeaky front springs are a common occurance among all SDs. There may be some isolators that are damaged. If so, the dealer should replace them under warranty.

Unhappy

My front suspension squeaks too. I also have a 2000 F250 4x4 with the V10 and heavy service spring package. It seems to be coming from the drivers side more so than the passenger side though. I have gone under the truck and squirted grease into the grease zerks and sprayed some WD40 on other areas. It's a little quieter, but not gone just yet. I can only hear it now at low speeds with the radio off, but it still annoys me.

If there is really something wrong I'd like to know, but if not, then I guess I'll just keep lubing it up until it goes away.

Thanks,
Greg

My F-150 squeaked when you turn the wheels all it was, was the pitman arm! theres a rubber bladder around the joint! i went to a auto store and got a fine grease needle and it attaches to the end of the grease gun. i pushed the needle in the rubber bladder and pumped it full of grease and the squeek is completaly gone! this may or may not be your problem? hope this helps.

There are several TSB's on the problem. A couple have to do with the spring tip isolators and a few about the sway bar. Shooting them with oil will help for a little while but, if it's under warrenty you should take it to the dealer to have them fix it.

I had the squeaky front end on my '00 F-250 with the X spring (snow plow package) front end. The isolators were changed to the 4 white ones, to no avail. I finally got my X springs replaced with the new style X springs in Nov., and I've not had a squeak since.
