Talking Superduty 3" Lift For The Rear

After debating over the past couple months if I wanted to lift my 2-wheel drive Superduty a bit to give it a more aggressive look and better ground clearnce my final decision was made the other day. Upon driving on I-526 in North Charleston, SC, I was going about 65MPH when I came upon a 5-gallon bucket in the road. It was too late too do any evasive manuvers so I went right over it, sending it flying from behind me...luckily nobody was following too closely. Anyhow, I got home and was slightly disappointed that it gave my Xenon air dam a good scrape on the bottom. Not noticeable unless on the ground looking at it thank goodness.
Yesterday I ordered the Fabtech 4" lift for the front and a 3" body lift. Not sure if I'm going to do the body lift yet but it was only $150 so I figured I can sell it if I decide not to do it . For the rear suspension lift, I went to a local 4x4 shop and bought 3" Trailmaster blocks and 4 U-bolts from a Superduty 4x4 for 50 bucks.

When I got home from work I decided to go ahead and get started on the rear. If anyone is interested, I have taken pics and posted them in my online photo album. The procedure is similar to those of you 4x4 people who want to switch your 2" blocks for 4" blocks.

I plan on doing the Fabtech 4" front lift myself as well when it arrives, and will post the pictures as well. Wish me luck! Link is below in signature.
